MVP Recap: M3R S3A Afterparty and LSL Guild Rush
The MVP Fam had the best time participating in the Axie Open Manila 2022 and the Philippine Web3 Festival. The M3R S3A: Web3 by the Sea The Official PHWeb3 Festival “Thank You” Afterparty hosted by Playdex at Port San Juan, La Union last November 18 to November 20, 2022, was the perfect way to cap off the whole Philippine Web3 Festival experience.
The team embarked on a road trip to La Union and stayed together at a beachfront Airbnb in preparation for the Afterparty and LSL Guild Rush. The eSports players were able to relax and at the same time bond with the whole team.
The atmosphere during the Afterparty was amazing! Everyone was full of energy and excitement as Rico Blanco performed his best hits in front of the crowd. The eSports players, gamers, builders, entrepreneurs, and Crypto OGs were just vibing and enjoying their well-deserved relaxation after grinding non-stop this year, particularly for the recently concluded Philippine Web3 Festival activities and tournament.
The MVP team got the chance to mingle with their friends and catch up while enjoying the breathtaking scenery La Union had to offer. The team also met social media personalities and fellow gamers such as VMiguel Gonzales, Extra Rai, Hezelya, and other awesome people from the community.
The event was filled with great music, delicious food, flowing drinks, a festive mood, and good vibes, making the experience more memorable. The La Union Surf Town (ELYU) was indeed the perfect setting to celebrate the success of the Philippine Web3 Festival and Web3 in general.
The Afterparty was a huge success thanks to Playdex and other organizations who made the event possible. The MVP team left the party feeling recharged and more motivated to keep grinding and building in the Web3 space.
The fun doesn’t end there. The team stayed together to prepare for the LSL Guild Rush Season 4 by Lunacian Sports League. A watch party live streamed on MVP’s Facebook Page was also organized in support of Yajplays, our Guardian who defended MVP Castle from Raiders during the LSL Castle Defense. Yajplays had a thrilling final battle against Fon from CritTheoryGaming resulting in a 2–3 match in favor of Fon. Nonetheless, the team is proud to have participated in the LSL Guild Rush. We’ll definitely get the trophy next time!
