From streaming to competitive play, these women have made significant strides, proving that women can excel in gaming just as much as men. Here are some of their success stories:
Bianca Yao, also known as “Biancake,” is one of the most popular female streamers and gamers in the Philippines with 3.5 million followers on her Facebook page as of March 2023. She started her career in 2015 and is known for her competitive skills in Dota2 and CS:GO. She also represented the Philippines in various international esports tournaments, making her a role model for aspiring gamers. Her success has led to sponsorships and collaborations with different brands. Now, she plays video games for a living.
Amara Ui or “amaratv” is a rising streamer and gamer who currently has 300,000 followers on Facebook. She is also a brand ambassador for different brands and a content creator for an eSports organization. She loves to play Valorant and often collaborates with her gaming buddies, Een, KAFI, and Kurimeow, to create entertaining content for her fans.
Jazzik1ns also known as “COL Jazzy” is another rising professional eSports player from the Philippines who has achieved significant success in gaming and is now the IGL for Complexity. She has become a role model for many aspiring female Valorant players.
